Piedmont Tech's nursing and health science programs require an extensive application process.

Prospective students must fulfill special admissions requirements to be eligible for acceptance into Nursing and Health Science programs.
Students must meet all requirements to become eligible for program entry or "Program-Ready." Once all program-ready requirements are complete, an application must be submitted online for entry consideration to the clinical phase of the Nursing or Health Science programs. This checklist applies to students interested in completing the following degrees at Piedmont Tech: Associate Degree Nursing, Practical Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technology, Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy Technician, Pharmacy Assistant, and Veterinary Technician.

Once your application is filed, you must submit an official copy of your high school transcript or GED and any college transcripts. You can download the forms you need below:
If you completed high school or college/university coursework outside of the United States, your transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services) member evaluator. A list of agencies can be found at www.naces.org.
You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) immediately to receive lottery tuition or federal financial assistance. Do not wait until classes start! Click here to learn about financial aid opportunities and policies.
All nursing and health science applicants must attend a mandatory Health Science/Nursing Information Session during the admissions process and before registration. The information session is available online or live. Follow this link to start the online session or to find out when and where the live sessions are offered.
Stop by your local Piedmont Tech location to take the placement test. Although appointments aren't required, please check the testing hours online and call Admissions at (864) 941-8369 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know when you're coming, and stop by our office in Room 103B on the Greenwood Campus when you arrive to check in.

Unless waived by college personnel, you will need to take the placement test. Visit our Testing Center Web Site for more information on test exemptions and sample test questions.

Students with international college/university coursework must provide an approved credit evaluation, if transfer credit is desired. The evaluator must be certified by NACES (National Association for Credential Evaluation Services).
Contact a campus near you to meet with an enrollment advisor and plan your schedule of classes. After this conversation, you'll register for classes and receive a printed schedule and a statement for tuition and fees.
