Non-Degree Seeking Students Print E-mail

Applicants who do not wish to seek a degree, diploma or certificate may enroll as a Career Development student. Please note that non-degree-seeking Career Development students are not eligibile for financial aid.

2. Complete or Exempt the Placement Test

The placement test will not be required except when the student enrolls in college level English and mathematics courses. If you later decide to enter a specific program, the placement test may be required, as well as a $25 enrollment fee.
 

3. Meet with an Enrollment Advisor

Contact a campus near you to meet with an enrollment advisor and plan your schedule of classes.
 

4. Register for Classes

Register for classes and receive a printed schedule and a statement for tuition and fees.
 

5. Obtain Your PTC Pathway ID Number

PTC Pathway allows you to use the Internet to access grades, course schedules, tuition balances, financial statements, and certain student services. At the time of enrollment, the college will assign you a random PTC ID (P#) that is used to log into your PTC Pathway account. Your date of birth (MMDDYY) will be your temporary password.
 

6. Purchase Textbooks

Purchase your books and supplies in person or online at the PTC Campus Shop. On selected dates, books are also available for purchase at the six County Centers.
