Commercial Floral Design I
Commercial Floral Design teaches the basics of Floral Design, flower identification and care, box making, color wheel theory and basic decorating, and fresh flower centerpieces ( round and oblong) .  Bud vases and gift baskets will also be addressed.  This will be a hands on class. It is the first of five modules to prepare the participant for a career in the floral industry. The class will also be for anyone just wanting to learn floral design for their own use.  This student can pick and choose classes which meet their needs however this class is a pre-requisite course for all other courses. Essential tools can be purchased from the instructor at the first class for approximately $30.  Flowers will be provided by the instructor at her cost.

Commercial Floral Design III
Commercial Floral Design IV will concentrate on church arrangements and weddings.  Learn how to plan a wedding as a floral designer understanding the traditions and customs.  In this module you will learn how to make fresh headpieces or halo's, bridal bouquets, wedding decorating, cake toppers, and pew markers.  Instruction will also include round as well as cascading bouquets ( fresh or silk) and fresh hand tied bouquets using jeweled wires and wrapped stems.  This will be a hands on class. It is the fourth of five modules required to prepare the participant for a career in the floral industry and obtain a Commercial Floral Design Certification.  The class will also be for anyone just wanting to learn floral design for their own use and not interested in certification to work in the floral industry.  Pre-requisite  is Commercial Floral Design I.   Flowers or materials for projects will be provided by the instructor at her cost.

Constable In-service
State constables are administratively divided into three groups based on the need for authority:  state constables for government entities retired police officers and stat constable auxiliary.  These constables must complete an annual in-service training, provided by South Carolina's technical colleges, session each fiscal year in which the commission was issued.  A copy of the in-service training certification must be submitted to the SLED Regulatory Department upon completion.

Interior Design: Lighting Needs

"The Course"  Project Management Certification Preparation
"The Course" is an online course that was developed and is conducted by a Registered Education Provider of the Project Management Institute(PMI®).  It is registered with PMI as a 56 hour course, surpassing their 35-hour requirement, and pre-approved by PMI to prepare students for certification as Project Management Professionals (PMP®).  Course materials include PMI's guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge 4th Edition (PMBOK®, workbooks tailored for The Course, and The Test™ a Test Engine containing 500 exam-like questions, to download and use on your own computer.  The Course teaches the core competencies of project management.  It covers the five process groups and nine knowledge area of PMBOK, the PMI code of ethics and professional conduct, and a review of general management topics that are in the PMP examination.  Project management is an evolving profession and employers are increasingly requiring that their project managers be certified.  This is an online course.
