Home Canner Workshops: Basics of Water Bath Canning

With food cost soaring, why not learn the basics of canning fruits and vegetables from your garden or local grown produce. We will start off with learning the basics of hot water bath canning using USDA methods. This will be hands on learning experience with Pickles and Relish.  You will take home a jar of what’s be prepared that day, Once you finish this class, you will have the confidence of being able to do your own home canning & preserving of local fruits & vegetables.

 Please wear appropriate clothing for kitchen work and closed toed shoes.

Class size is limited to 15. Ball Blue Book® is included.
