Online courses are Web-based so that you can participate from your home or business. Using the tools in the Desire2Learn (D2L) course management system, online students are expected to complete readings and assignments and to interact with their instructor and classmates each week. Tests and other evaluations are given online; however, mid-term and final exams must be completed under the supervision of an approved proctor at one of Piedmont Tech's seven locations or at a testing site in your area.
VERY IMPORTANT! Regular Internet access is absolutely necessary. The faster your computer and Internet connection, the better. Basic familiarity with the Internet, Web browsers, word processing, and e-mail is also essential.

All online courses are offered every term with the exception of ENG 202 and 205 offered only in the summer.
Enter the term and select the course to “View Course Description” which includes textbook info, course objectives, sample syllabus and more.
