PEN classes are live courses that allow instructors and students based at various college locations to see and interact with one another using high quality LCD televisions and other classroom technologies. Because this course format is made possible by the college's high-speed, fiber-optic Piedmont Education Network, these courses are called PEN courses. Thanks to PEN courses, more students have access to a wide variety of courses along with the convenience of attending classes at the Piedmont Tech locations that are closest to home.
