The Foundation hosts various events each year to engage the general community in fundraising that benefits the college.

PTC Golf Classic Tournament

Since 1991, the PTC Golf Classic has been a favorite event for local golfers that has raised thousands of dollars for student scholarships. The 2009 tournament is set for Friday, April 24th at Grand Harbor's Patriot Golf Club. Mark your calendar and submit your registration today! 
 

Fourth of July Family Fun Day Celebration

Regretfully, the 2009 Fourth of July Family Fun Day Celebration will not be held due to state funding cuts. The Foundation says "thank you" to community supporters by hosting the annual Fourth of July Family Fun Day Celebration on the Lex Walters Campus in Greenwood. The event has grown to include family events such as children's rides, classic car exhibits, musical entertainment, and the largest fireworks display in seven counties.
 

Pottery Sales

The Foundation partners with the Center for Creative Economies to sell pottery pieces that have been crafted by students in the college's pottery program. Proceeds from these sales benefit the Center for Creative Economies. Sales are advertised to the general public in the local media and on this Web site.
