You know the ins-and-outs of the College from academics, to extra-curricular activities and especially the challenges of searching for and starting college.

Since I’ve been at Piedmont Tech, everyone that I’ve come in contact with has been very nice and helpful. The faculty keep you in line and help you stay focused on your goal. Going through the BCT program has enhanced my leadership skills. It has given me the desire to do the best I can while I’m here.

My goal was and is to receive my education in human services. My main objective is to obtain employment in my local area working with young clients. Piedmont Technical College has given me the strength to achieve my goals.

Before I came to Piedmont Tech, I had the expectation that it was going to be very difficult adjusting to a new language, culture and lack of friends. After my first day, I found out that my expectations were wrong. Faculty, staff and other students have been very nice and friendly and have made me feel very comfortable studying here.

Everything I have been through has prepared me for what I am doing now. I have discovered that no matter how far fetched a goal may seem, you can do it if you stay focused.

I chose Piedmont Tech this time because of the great support, inspiration and encouragement I received the first time around. It is with great honor and respect that I am able to serve as a Presidential Ambassador. It is a privilege for me to be able to give back to the college that has given me so much.

Being a Presidential Ambassador is one more way that I can better myself. There have been so many people who have helped me and I see this as my opportunity to give back.

Human Services

My mom, dad and step-father all have a human services background. I feel passionately about wanting to work with students in some way. I want to enjoy what I do, not feel like I’m just taking home a paycheck.

I have been empowered since I’ve been here. I’m going to take everything I have experienced and learned here at Piedmont Technical College and apply it to my life personally and professionally. I know I will be able to have an impact on others’ lives because of the difference Piedmont Tech has made in my life.
