Massage Therapists are health care professionals who are prepared to address specific health issues and work in conjunction with other ealth professionals. Massage Therapy addresses dysfunction injury and chronic pain associated with soft tissue.  At the same time a therapist can provide luxurious relaxing sessions and competent stress management.

Massage Therapists must have good communication skills, have compassion for people, and have the highest of ethical and moral values.

Duties:

Therapists may be called on to provide:

  • Swedish-a gently relaxing massage

  • Pressure Point Therapy-for specific diseases or injuries

  • Sports Massage-with a focus on specific muscle groups

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

  • Chronic and Temporary Pain

  • Temporalmandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ)
