The Center for Advanced Manufacturing, part of PTC's Laurens County Campus is located along the I-385 corridor and is within easy driving distance of industrial and business sites. The Center has been established to support the manufacturing sector's growing training needs in the region.

QuickSkills: Advanced Manufacturing

PTC has worked with ZF Group to design three programs that will prepare you directly for entry-level employment at the new transmission facility in Laurens County. Offerings include:

ASSIST to Work

Accessible Support Services and Instruction for Sustainable Transition (ASSIST) to work addresses business and industry’s challenge in employing highly skilled, technologically sound employees. Delivered through the Workforce Readiness Center, ASSIST is a comprehensive and customizable education and support services program that will prepare participants for the competitive global work force.


About the Center

Phase One Construction is now complete. This renovation of 13,000 square feet includes three classrooms, a CNC Lab, and a CMM lab for precision measuring of parts. Training for industrial clients is already underway, and curriculum offerings will be forthcoming in the next several weeks.
