An associate degree or a high school diploma plus two (2) years? related work experience. Position requires the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 words per minute and basic knowledge of computer operations.

Job Description:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The administrative specialist?s primary responsibilities are: 1) provide administrative and clerical support to the primary CAPS areas (Dean of Arts and Sciences, the Advising Center, AIM Center, and Student Disability Services), i.e., scheduling appointments, file maintenance, information transfer, etc. 2) support and maintain internal operations and activities of the primary CAPS service areas, 3) coordinate the scheduling of services to students, 4) provide exemplary customer service.

9:00 a.m. ? 6:00 p.m., Monday ? Thursday
(1 hour lunch)
8:00 a.m. ? 1:30 p.m., Friday
