Requirements:

A bachelor's degree and one (1) year professional work experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in statistics, research methods or business management plus four (4 )years of work experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data in higher education. Must have excellent organizational skills and initiative to carry out assigned and unassigned research and assessment projects with strict deadlines. The ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team. Knowledge of methods of research design, data collection, data manipulation, data analysis and presentation of information. Knowledge of applicable computer software products. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Ability to predict trends and future action based on the analysis of collected information. Ability to prepare and present reports; ability to communicate the results of data analysis; ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Job Description:

Responsible for the coordination of Northeastern Technical College's institutional research and assessment function to support data-driven planning and management. Conducts and compiles recurring and AD Hoc research projects including internal and external data request. Coordinates research project design, data acquisition and management, analysis and report development and dissemination. Works with IT to develop and provide user access to data reports. Collects, analyzes, interprets and reports data required for IPEDS, SACS, SBTCE, Title IV reporting and other reports as required. Provide research, analysis and organizational support for institutional assessment and continuous improvement. Maintains content for Institutional Effectiveness web and NETC Portal presence. Assist with analysis, development selection and implementation of instruments designed to collect and evaluate institutional performance data. Represents the college in institutional research, assessment and Institutional Effectiveness peer groups and conferences.

Monday - Thursday (8:00 - 5:00), Friday (8:00 - 1:30)
