Wages/Salary: The salary ranges from $16,806.00 to $31,095.00.

Requirements:

The requirements for this job are a 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requries a valid Class "B"
Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position but applicants without a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will be making repairs to potholes and base surface failures of roadway using hand tools including shovel, pick,rake, and asphalt lute to level asphalt as needed; trains to operate dump trucks in hauling material and equipment to job sites. Trains to operate dump truck with sand spreader and snow plow attached; perform manual labor in maintenance tasks as clearing of right-of-ways, cleaning drainage ditches, repairing shoulders, patching potholes, paving driveways, cutting trees, and laying sideline/crossline pipe. Trains in the operation of AMZ patching machine which
is used for paving, patching repairs to base and pavement on roads, driveways, crossovers, turn lanes, and bridge approaches. Assists with setting up work signs and performing flagging operations during repair and maintenance of roads and bridges. Performs other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.

Schedule:
The normal work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
