CompTIA Tech+

CompTIA Tech+ helps students to enhance various competencies in the IT industry and prepares them with the skills needed to advance their careers. To be successful in the course, students should possess a basic understanding of concepts and terminology; infrastructure; applications and software; software development; data and database fundamentals; and security. The curriculum includes a wide range of topics such as understanding and managing IT infrastructure and computing concepts; troubleshooting and resolving common hardware and software issues; recognizing and addressing basic cybersecurity threats; and grasping emerging technologies like AI and IoT. Upon completion of this course, students will be better prepared to pursue more advanced certification pathways. Students will have access to practice exams, and upon completion of the course should be well equipped to take the CompTIA Tech+, FC0-U71, certification exam. Tech+ certification is strongly focused on the protection of digital assets, a critical skill set in today's cybersecurity-conscious environment. The course is online and self-paced over a 6-month period. The instructor provides support to ensure participants have quality experiences. For eligible candidates, full scholarship funding is available.
