Job-Ready Guarantee Claim

It is the policy of Piedmont Technical College to demonstrate confidence in the quality of its programs. As such, Piedmont Technical College guarantees every graduate of a technical program (certificate, diploma, or associate degree) as follows:

• The College guarantees that a graduate has demonstrated the necessary knowledge and skills and can perform each competency as identified in the program student learning outcomes and course objectives. Any program graduate who is determined to lack such competence shall be retrained at no cost to the employer or the graduate for tuition or instructional fees.
• A claim against the warranty may be filed by an employer in conjunction with a graduate.
• This guarantee is applicable only to graduates of a certificate, diploma, or degree program who entered the program subsequent to the implementation date for that program.
• The guarantee shall remain in effect for one year immediately following the date of graduation.

All claims against this guarantee will be processed according to PTC Procedure 8-2-2080.1 Guarantee of Degree, Diploma, and Certificate Graduates in Technical Programs.
