Requirements:

An associate degree or a high school diploma and two (2) years related work experience required. Position requires basic knowledge of computer operations.
Ability to develop and maintian effective relationships with institutional personnel and external customers is needed. Must have excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision, complete a wide range of duties efficiently and accurately, possess initiative and good problem-solving skills. Some evening work required. Possible lifting up to 20 lbs.
Knowledge of Banner software and Microsoft products is preferred.

Job Description:

Piedmont Technical College has an opening for an Administrative Specialist II in Admissions to:

1. Provide customer service for the main Admissions Office phone line, greet all walk-ins with quality customer service, and give accurate information on a variety of topics.

2. Assist with Admissions data entry and processing.

3. Assist applicants by scheduling them for placement testing, Health Science Information Sessions, and advising appointments.

4. Provide administrative support in the Admissions Office.

5. Attend all college functions as required; initiate & apply LEAN principles and practices into daily activities in pursuit of continuous improvement; and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
