Education: Bachelor?s Degree in Human Services, Education, Social Work and/or Liberal Arts preferred or a combination of related experience and education.

Job Description:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
-To effectively extend customer service and case management to clients through training and assistance with job placement.

-To encourage and promote a mutual associate/customer relationship which enhances the profitability of Goodwill Industries.

-To establish positive relationships with clients, worksites, referring agencies, and associates to successfully implement Goodwill?s mission services.

-To coordinate with the Career Development Services Staff, other departments and agencies to establish and implement appropriate services for the clientele of Goodwill Industries.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To facilitate, provide and complete intake and orientation processes.
2. To serve as the point person between client and worksite supervisor in addressing issues, barriers, and progress in training program.
3. To meet individual persons placed and persons served monthly goals in addition to any objectives set forth as necessary.
4. To provide counseling, skill based training, work adjustment, and career guidance skills.
5. To work with eligible clients in developing and attaining desired goals by establishing goals, reviewing and monitoring progress, and then recording results.
6. To be knowledgeable of organizational practices, policies and procedures, and compliance with the same.
7. To complete timely and accurate weekly and/or monthly reports.
8. Document all activities through narrative, statistical and financial reporting where necessary.
9. Manage client files and provide accurate documentation for services, including contact notes into CDS internal/external software.
10. To ensure client records reflect the following in a timely manner: services provided, incentives awarded, progress of obtaining goals, necessary signatures and addressing barriers.
11. To facilitate and teach classes that enhances employability skills and work skills.
12. To develop, evaluate, and monitor each client?s work performance to obtain maximum productivity and progress in training program.
13. To provide excellent customer service.
14. To assist clients with job referrals and job placement, including follow-up and retention services.
15. To cultivate relationships with employers in order to find viable job opportunities for clients.
16. To travel as needed to meet the day-to-day activities for all client services.
17. To maintain confidentiality of all records and files concerning the position and ensure HIPAA compliance.
18. To assist in following through with program evaluation and accountability.
19. Knowledge of organizational practices, policies and procedures, and compliance with the same.
20. Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with Safety policies and procedures.
21. To facilitate the gathering of client, business, and referral agencies satisfaction through surveys.
22. To act as a liaison between Goodwill Industries and referral sources, such as Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, Department of Social Services, SHARE, United Way, Department of Employment and Workforce, WIA, etc.
23. To provide coverage of Job Connections as determined by various staffing needs.
