Basic Qualifications:

Top candidates will also have:
* 6 months of foundry experience in molding or backend (finishing) operations
* * Previous machine shop, foundry, or manufacturing experience
* Computer skills

* Problem solving and decision-making

Description
As a Mold Maker you will perform a variety of manual and/or machine functions related to Coremaking such as dipping, inspecting and assembling (3 or less) cores. You will also operate and/or lock out equipment to clean molding floor and reclaim or dispose of sand in basement levels.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Core box mounting
* Mixing and testing core sand
* Bolt threading
* Molding functions such as preparing pouring basins
* Mold spraying, drying and/or venting
* Operating punch-out and related equipment
* Performs melting functions such as sample taking, slag skimming
* Finishing functions such as riser breaking (floor)
* Hand chipping, finning and wire pulling
* Operates shakeouts, stand and portable grinders
* Ramblast and de-finning machines
