A bachelor's degree in engineering and two (2) years of entry-level engineering work
experience; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and four (4) years of entry-level engineering work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Job Description:

Serves as District Contracts Engineer in preparation of district wide Federal Aid and
Maintenance Contracts. Serves as District Encroachment Permit Engineer to review and
manage all encroachment permits submitted to District Office for approval. Monitors project QA/QC, erosion control and traffic control activities on major projects for compliance with approved plans. Responds to inquiries from the public. Reviews damage claims and makes recommendations for payment or denial. Reviews plans for proposed projects and makes recommendations for improvements. Makes recommendations for corrections to existing roadway concerns. Acts as rating officer on EPMS. Performs surveying duties as needed. Prepares reports for District Engineer review as needed.

Schedule:
FTE - Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
