A degree in social work or related field and two years experience. Prefer a Master of Social Work from a Social Work Program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Experience in working with behavior disordered children and families. Preference will be given to candidate with two or more year's clinical experience. Position requires strong case management and counseling background, with excellent communication skills. Individual must have knowledge of confidentiality laws (state/federal) and skills in intra-interagency team building, facilitation, theory and practice. Must demonstrate the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and the special needs population. Individual must demonstrate strong assessment and follow-up skills.
Will serve as lead clinical staff to treatment team and development of individual plans of care. Individual is responsible for providing intensive counseling services to children and families in the care of John de la Howe School. Other areas of duty include providing training to on-campus staff, public/private agencies, multiple-and single-family counseling, and conducting in-home visits.
