College degree or equivalent years of experience. Knowledge in the fields programming and inspection
1+ year experience in the automotive industry and the technical and quality requirements preferred. Must have valid drivers license. Must have worked at least 24 consecutive months in a manufacturing facility. TS 16949 or VDA6.3 experience. IMDS experience. Experience in all standard measurement equipment (CMM, Comparator etc.). Metric drawing reading skills required. Babtec, SAP and TS-AIAG Knowledge required. Six Sigma trained a plus
CMM programming: Coordinates set up and calibration of gages for production. Develops measurement concepts and programs, as well as optimize existing measurement methods
Analysis & sign off of CMM reports - 1st time thru/1st pc/In-process. Perform Gage R&R and maintain proper calibration of gages.
Part inspection and create processes that objectively view the quality of the product. The position requires a good understanding of procedures for identification and fulfillment of customer requirements
Reports to manufacturing any out of tolerance issues in a timely manner.
