Requirements:

A 10th grade education and six (6) months of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Class A Commercial Driver? License (CDL). Note: This position requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver? License. However, applicants without a Class A Commercial Driver? License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class A Commercial Driver? License are available. Class A Commercial Driver? License must be attained within six (6) of placement in the position.

Job Description:

Assist mechanics in performing preventive maintenance on light, medium, and heavy
equipment. Assist mechanics in making repairs to light, medium, and heavy equipment. Clean tools, sweep floors, clean up oil spots and keep shop in an orderly manner ensuring compliance with OSHA and DHEC. Answer service calls in the field for tractor mowers, dump trucks, and equipment. Assist in the pickup of parts. Perform other related duties as required by the supervisor. Assist shop operations during emergencies and hazardous weather conditions.

Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)/ Full-Time
