Wages/Salary: $12.35/hour
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with one to two years experience maintaining and operating various types of equipment and the ability to design light displays, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Must have experience leading a work crew. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to work from a ladder and at significant heights. Must possess or be eligible for a SC driver’s license.

Responsibilities: Under limited supervision is responsible for working within a team to prepare the park for various special events. Tasks include managing part-time staff and schedules, keeping detailed inventory, building, erecting and dismantling props and lights displays, park event preparation, and all special event lighting. Coordinates the inventory of various event props including audio visual, lights, microphones, tents, and theming. Insures public safety in the construction and installation of lights and props that are structurally sound and properly wired and grounded. In coordination with Events Manager develops a detailed events preparation schedule and delegates tasks to meet all deadlines. Reports to the Events Manager.
