Wages/Salary: $31,805.00 - $58,848.00 Annually AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MIN: $35,621.00 AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MAX: $58,848.00
A high school diploma and six (6) years of progressively responsible field experience in geodetic
surveying or related area; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State
Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
Prepares reports to include daily work reports, erosion control reports, monthly estimates, final
estimates and final plans to ensure contractors are properly paid for all work completed
satisfactory. Performs field inspections on all phases of work being performed by contractors on
complex road and bridge projects during construction. Certified in four specialized fields. Trains
technicians in all aspects of construction work include field inspections, sampling and testing of
construction materials, maintaining daily diaries, using site manager, and preparing final notes
and plans. Also conducts monthly safety meetings. Monitors traffic control on assigned projects
to ensure the traffic control plan is being followed according to approved plans. Performs related
duties as requested by Resident Construction Engineer.
