Requirements:

High school diploma/GED and at least one (1) year experience as a Paramedic, Advanced EMT, EMT, or SC Athletic Trainer.
All candidates must be currently certified as a South Carolina Paramedic, Advanced EMT, EMT, or SC Athletic Trainer.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, this individual performs COVID 19 field testing and/or immunizations/vaccinations as required.

  • Assists in semiskilled nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Obtains specimens through various collection techniques and procedures as required for COVID 19 field testing.
  • Maintains and generates required COVID 19 Forms and/or Orders -May be required to complete citizen testing forms by hand as required and obtain data related to the collection of COVID 19 specimens.
  • When required, may perform immunizations and vaccinations related to COVID19, flu, and Hepatitis A based on the needs of the Region in which you are serving.
