Requirements:

A 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.A valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

Trains in the operation of tractor mounted slope mowers and guardrail mowers to be used for mowing sight areas and guardrails. Operates 5-yard and tandem dump trucks in hauling materials, pipe and equipment to and from job sites. Performs manual labor necessary to hand clear right-of-ways, clean out drainage ditches, repair shoulders of roadway, patch potholes, installing drives, repair bridges, and lay sideline/crossline drainage pipe. During roadway maintenance and repair, sets up signs and performs flagging operations at job site to direct traffic safely around workers and equipment. Performs related duties as required.

Schedule:
FTE - Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
