Requirements:

You will need a 10th grade education and three and one-half (3.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License. This position requires a valid Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License are available.

Job Description:

You will perform duties on asphalt patching crew including driveway paving, patching edges and potholes, leveling roadway, operating asphalt kettle, operating backhoe, and other duties as required; assist foreman as necessary with compiling quantities and maintaining reports in HMMS; assist in compiling monthly reports for Resident Maintenance Engineer and senior staff; operates equipment including combination front end loader, backhoe and roller as needed for driveway installation and patching operations; operates 5 yard dump and tandem dump trucks hauling equipment and materials to and from job sites; perform other related duties as required for normal daily operation including flagging, workzone setup and take down per MUTCD standards, follow vehicle driving, small power tool operation, tree removal, etc; perform other related duties as equipment operator including snow plow, loader, or spreader, requiring right-of-way debris removal during hazardous weather, snow-ice, and related emergencies; operate small to midsize motorgrader for asphalt leveling and patching duties; perform other related duties as required by supervisor.

Schedule:
You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
