Real Estate Pre-licensing

This 60-hour Real Estate Pre-License Course is designed to provide aspiring real estate professionals with the essential knowledge and skills required to embark on a successful career in real estate within the state of South Carolina. This comprehensive course covers the fundamental principles, regulations, and practices necessary for obtaining a real estate license. Explore topics ranging from applicable laws and regulations to real estate contracts, financing, appraisals, marketing, and professional ethics. Receive targeted guidance and resources to prepare for the South Carolina real estate licensing exam. Practice exams and quizzes will reinforce your understanding of the material. Students will first have to pass the in-class exam before receiving a certificate that qualifies them to take the state exam. The state exam is not included in the course fee. Books are included. Classes will be held in Room 136 of the GA Building (313 Emerald Rd., Greenwood SC 29646) on the Piedmont Technical College Greenwood Campus. Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than seven (7) days’ notice will result in forfeiture of total registration fee. Attendance Policy: Class attendance is essential to a successful outcome. Both the South Carolina Real Estate Commission and the training provider requires that all pre-licensing course hours are complete to qualify for the exam and certification.
