Job Description:

In this challenging role, you will support the Student Housing department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following: -Perform regular preventive maintenance for 4 apartment buildings (438 beds) and stand alone offices. Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure that they are properly maintained. Conducts periodic inspections and schedules preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment. Perform, monitor, and document fire and safety inspections. Monitor all grounds, facility structure, and utility problems. -Could perform the following renovations and maintenance work, but not limited to: -Floor maintenance - vacuum carpets, dust and wet mop tile and hard surfaces. Waste removal - empty trash cans and remove waste from building to dumpsters. Furniture, sills, and shelves - dust and spot clean, move and realign furniture, vacuum upholstered furniture. -Maintenance - change light bulbs and air filters, repair small leaks, paint and other duties assigned. Fixtures - clean and sanitize public toilets, urinals, sinks, and drink fountains, polish fixtures, and clean mirrors. Container - refill hand soap, towel and tissue dispensers. -Plans work schedule. Maintains supply, leave, and timekeeping records. Coordinates the use of facilities; ensures facilities meet requirements. Requisitions and issues equipment and supplies. Maintains records and prepares reports regarding work activities. In all functions, must be in
compliance with bloodborne pathogen standards.

8AM - 5PM M-F; some weekend work and after hours work, as needed
