Requirements:

Intern should be dependable, responsible, competent with computers and social media, comfortable interacting with the public, and ideally is interested in local history. 

Job Description:

Promotes the Abbeville County Historical Society, the McGowan House, the Railroad Museum, and the Abbeville County Museum on social media, as well as on our website and print media. Updates the Historic Abbeville Walking Tour as needed and will assist in the formation of the Historic Abbeville County Driving Tour. Intern will help with tours of the McGowan House and the Abbeville County Museum, and will assist with locating supplies to reconstruct two historic buildings. Intern will also assist with membership drive and newsletter.

Schedule:
Varies, will include some weekend work.
