Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $25,627.00 to $47,413.00 annually. The agency hiring minimum range is $27,933 and the maximum range is $47,413.
You will need a high school diploma and four (4) years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a bachelor?s degree may be substituted for the related work experience; a valid motor vehicle operator?s license. You will need experience with Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS).
You will perform administrative duties as the office manager for Lexington Construction Office ?B?; assist the Resident Construction Engineer (RCE) with personnel matters and completes paperwork for all human resources transactions; conduct orientation for new hires, assists employees with benefits, and informs employees of any changes in human resources policies and/or procedures; maintain filing system on personnel, correspondences, and construction projects to include setting up new files and removing and storing or destroying old files in
accordance with departmental records retention regulations; receive telephone calls in courteous and professional manner and refers them to the proper individuals; obtain and provide information concerning construction projects to public and departmental personnel. You will use SCEIS system to review and verify employees? time and leave for accuracy. Complete shopping carts and purchase orders in SCEIS system ensuring purchasing and bid procedures are in accordance with departmental procurement procedures; track and monitor federal requirements in regards to contractor?s certified payrolls, DBE goals, Stage Type inspections, etc. as designated in project contracts; perform other duties as required by Resident
Construction Engineer.
