Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree plus 1 year related work experience; OR, an Associate's degree plus 3 years related work experience; OR, High School diploma plus 5 years work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working as an administrative assistant in a college setting.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite 2007

Job Description:

In this challenging role, you will support the Assistant Dean of Industrial Technology as well as Department Heads of Fire Science, Industrial Maintenance Technology, and Welding at Greenville technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following: Utilize Datatel to access student and budget information as well as input class schedules. Utilize Datatel to generate reports, class rosters, purchase orders, faculty workload reports, packages for adjunct instructors, etc.
Type correspondence, memos, reports, teaching materials and handouts.
Maintain records and serve as recording secretary for 2 advisory committees.

Schedule:
40 hrs/week - some evening hours may be required
