Requirements:

Educational: Associates degree preferred but will substitute experience for education. Related administrative experience in the healthcare field preferred.

Essential Skills: Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to maintain courteous, professional and effective working relations with individuals at all levels. Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook Express is essential. Candidate must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Candidate should be able to work independently and in a fast paced team environment.

Job Description:

The Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our Diagnostic-Molecular laboratory. The primary duties of this role include administrative/clerical support, telephone coverage and data entry.
Primary Duties
? Monitoring of incoming communications, most importantly those to and from referring physician offices;
? Preparation of routine correspondence
? Data entry of patient demographic and related information into varied computer programs
? Support lab directors and personnel administratively with special projects and other miscellaneous duties

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
