Requirements:

A high school diploma and six (6) years of relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A bachelors's degree may be substituted for four (4)years of the required work experience.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory experience.
Personal Computer experience.

Job Description:

Under general supervision of the Director of Engineering, plans organizes and directs complex administrative activities within District Three. Performs and supervises the performance of activities related to fiscal management, personnel management, procurement, supply services,auxiliary services, etc. Advises supervisor of inconsistencies and independently develops solutions to problems. Handles administrative office related inquires in the absence of the District Engineering Administrator. Directly supervises and trains administrative personnel in office duties and various departmental programs. Assigns, distributes, and monitors tasks of
administrative personnel. Prepares and evaluates employee performance and administers
personnel disciplinary actions. Conducts interviews for perspective employees. Reviews the certification report for the District Office payroll and approves the payroll for transmission.Maintains Correspondence Tracking System (CTS) using the Task System to assign the CTS and to monitor the due date, conducts investigations and complex special assignments. Handles vendor complaints that relate to past due accounts as well as complaints against vendors that relate to delayed deliveries. Monitors compliance with annual budgets and the availability of funds. Prepares budget transfer requests. Acts as training coordinator for District Three. Schedules dates for training classes, adds the classes to the Entire Connection Training
System. Registers office staff and field office employees for training and records all training to the employees training records. Performs other related duties as required.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)/ Full-Time
