Requirements:

High school diploma and two (2) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather or other emergencies.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of advanced administrative duties in a
Spartanburg Maintenance Office. Maintains a complex filing system. Prepares, computes and types reports and inputs data in a personal computer. Performs receptionist duties: answers incoming calls, takes requests for service to be performed on State right of ways, and enters requests in the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS). Communicates with the general public in a professional manner, keeps accurate records of correspondence and forward to proper person or department. Operates two-way radio to communicate with field personnel.
Assists with maintaining records for processing damage claims. Assists with checking payroll,time entry in Highway Maintenance Management System, and employee benefits. Assists with procurement and utility payments. Performs other related duties as needed.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8:00 - 5:00)/ Full-Time
