Requirements:

High school diploma and two (2) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid driver's license.
May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather or other emergencies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Personal Computer Experience.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of advanced administrative duties in a
Spartanburg Maintenance Office. Maintains complex filing system. Prepares, computes and types reports in personal computer. Assists in procurement duties in a busy maintenance office. Answers incoming calls, takes request for work to be performed on State right of ways and enters information in the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS). Communicates with the general public in a professional manner. Operates two-way radio to communicate with field personnel. Assists office manager with checking payroll, time entry in Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS) and employee benefits. Performs other related duties as needed.

Monday - Friday (8:00 - 5:00)/ Full-Time
