High school diploma and two (2) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. Experience with personal computer and answering a multi-lined telephone. Experience with formulas in Excel spreadsheets, with the creation/alteration of charts, and with creating queries/reports in access. Experience with creating letters and memos.

Job Description:

Serves as office receptionist. Answers incoming calls on a multi-lined telephone. Receives and distributes mail for office and logs accordingly. Prepares letters and memos as directed. Processes miscellaneous bills and reimbursement claims for office personnel. Prepares complex spreadsheets and charts reflecting office activities associated with road projects. Conducts yearly office inventory, maintains inventory database, and processes property disposal and transfer. Compiles monthly vehicle usage report for office and assists with office payroll. Assists others within office as directed.
