Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $31,182.00 to $57,695.00; annually. The agency hiring minimum range is 35,000 and the maximum is 42,000.
You will need a Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences, information technology, or related field; or an Associate Degree in computer science, computer technology, or related field and two (2) years experience in computer system development and modification; or high school diploma and four (4) years experience in computer system development and modification. SQL programming is required. Datatel experience is preferred. You will need working knowledge of programming techniques and languages, system analysis, application software, operating systems and computer hardware.
You will be under the general supervision of the IT Director, provides hardware, software, and network-related computer support as well as backup support, for the College's end-user community. You will provide college-wide technical support in the analysis, design, programming and maintenance of administrative systems and applications. You will train users in the use of computer programs and arranges for the processing of special reports; establish and maintain working relationships with users, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively.
