An associate's degree in computer science or related field and two (2) years of experience in computer programming or computer system development and modification; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL and Discoverer. Experience with
development tools, design interfaces, database design tools, security procedures and
performance considerations. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDCL)
management and models
Under general supervision, performs analysis, design, programming, implementation and
maintenance of new and existing computer systems. Uses Oracle development tools to support the reporting requirements of agency and to administrate the Discoverer End User Layer (EUL). Provides user training and basic operating documentation for new systems and enhancements. Reviews user problems and determines workable solutions. Serves as user contact for problems.
