A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and three (3) years of experience in computer system development and modification; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
Experience in system analysis, system design, database optimization and efficient programming methods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) or more years of practical experience developing Microsoft Office SharePoint Serverbased content management solutions with Visual Studio c#.Net, SQL Server, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, JavaScript, CAML, HTML, XML and Web Services
Works independently and in a team environment performing analysis, design, development,implementation, documentation and support of Microsoft.NET web applications on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010. Works on projects making use of custom web parts, workflows and other features to implement and enhance enterprise solutions for Electronic Document Management, Office Automation, Intranet Applications and Extranet Portals. Reviews user requests for new development or enhancements to existing systems. Meets with users to
determine needs and development requirements documentation. Provides maintenance support and recommend improvements. Provides user training and basic operating documentation for new systems and enhancements. Serves as user contact for assigned systems. Provides consulting services to internal users, outside agencies, and contractors concerning SCDOT software.
