Job Description:

You will need to perform rodman, axman, and chainman duties; assist in operating a level and a transit; record notes on field surveys by regular written notes and laptop computer; perform general office work involving calculating quantities, grades, reducing survey notes, plotting and inking cross sections, running areas, and figuring volumes of excavation, completing forms and reports; assist in sampling and testing materials used in construction to determine their conformance with specifications; assist in performing inspection duties in the areas of drainage, bituminous surfacing, and asphalt inspection; perform related duties as required.
