Job Description:
Assists in the inspection of roadway and bridge construction projects. Inspections includes clearing and grubbing, grading drainage, placement and compaction of asphalt concrete mixes, placement of bituminous surfacing, setting grades and lines for bridge construction, calculating bearing of piles, placements of reinforcing steel, and placement of concrete for structures. Assists inspectors in maintaining records and preparing reports. Fills out daily construction dairies. Assists inspector in sampling and testing materials used in construction. Sampling and submitting required samples to Research and Materials Lab. Performs various engineering technician duties as required.
Schedule:
FTE Full-Time: Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
