Wages/Salary: $24,881.00 - $46,033.00 Annually
A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
May be required to work overtime, nighttime, and/or weekends during hazardous
weather or emergencies.
Conducts field inspections on moderate level contracts that require field measurements for payment such as roadway mowing, vegetation or tree removals, street sweeping, etc. Assists Senior Geodetic Technician in processing utility encroachment permits by reviewing applications for accuracy and compliance with specifications, inspecting site locations, and recommending approval of permits. Reviews applications for residential encroachment permits checking for accuracy and compliance with specifications, inspects site locations, and recommends approval of permit requests. Maintains all encroachment permits to include entering permits in the HMMS system for tracking; forwards permits to appropriate personnel for final processing and approval; returns all pertinent correspondence to applicants; and maintains pending and completed permit records for office files. Works during hazardous weather performing duties as requested by shift supervisor.
