Requirements:

This position requires high school diploma or equivalent AND relevant experience in field maintenance. Must possess a valid SC driver’s license. 

Job Description:

 This position is responsible for the maintenance of athletic fields and departmental equipment under the oversight of Newberry County Parks and Recreation.  Coordinates and works with the Town of Prosperity concerning the maintenance of recreation fields under the ownership of the Town of Prosperity. Ensures fields are maintained and prepped for practices/games for soccer, baseball, softball and other sports as necessary. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends as necessary to prepare fields. Typical hours will be afternoons OR mornings Monday through Friday (weather dependent). 

Schedule:
Monday-Friday (hours dependent on schedule and ability to complete necessary work by deadline)
