You will need to have High School graduate with some secondary education preferred. Possess basic math and computer skills. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills; possess a high level of attention to detail; ability to work with an organized sense of urgency at all times; like being creative and can be resourceful; must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks; maintain a professional appearance; visibly enjoy working in the action of the moment; must possess excellent customer service skills; ability to work without direct supervision at times; background in fast food service with coffee shop and some barista experience preferred.
The Coffee Shop Baristas will be making smoothies, coffee, lattes, and other drinks. Mayoccasionally and as necessary, prepare sandwiches and other food items. Must know or learn quickly how to grind, measure, tamp and prepare shots of espresso and steam perfect milk. They will operate a cash register (POS) and balance cash receipts, be responsible for maintaining and organizing all service ware and serving areas and maintain a clean work environment, take inventory and keep areas completely stocked, closing out daily sales.
