Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of superior performance in Advancement work in a non-profit/higher education environment or a related field; or a combination of education and experience. Experience working with volunteers preferred. Valid driver’s licenses and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and energy to implement new strategies and meet ambitious goals. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and constituencies, including C-Suite Executives, University administrators, faculty, staff and others. Advanced knowledge and/or prior use of Raiser's Edge or CRM equivalent.
The Senior Director of Advancement Strategies and Campaign serves as a key partner and advisor in campaign planning and execution and strategic fundraising initiatives. Works with the Advancement team to increase fundraising productivity. Establishes systems and procedures for a comprehensive campaign for the University. Executes campaign review and strategy meetings with Colleges and Schools. Serves as liaison with Information Technology Services, and proposes, prioritizes and coordinates software projects. Serves in a University development leadership role.
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Occasional overnight travel and evening and weekend work required.
