Requirements:

? Must have a high school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent
? Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
? Must be 18 years of age or older
? Must pass background check and drug screen (both pre-employment and also ongoing random screens)
? Must be able to work in a tobacco-free environment
? Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses and safety shoes
? Must be able to work either the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm ? 11:00 pm OR the 3rd shift from 11:00 pm ? 7:00 am
? Must be able to work overtime
? Must be able to work occasional weekend shifts
? Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
? Must have a minimum of 1-year general machine shop experience in set-up and operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines: mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc. OR be a successful graduate of any recognized machinist or tool maker course.
? Must have education or work experience include milling, turning and grinding processes with machines such as mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, etc.
? Must have experience or training utilizing a combination of blue prints and work instructions to produce machine parts.

Job Description:

? Set-up and operate a variety of production equipment and tooling in a gas turbine manufacturing facility.
? Will have ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and productivity in position of responsibilities.
? Must be a flexible team player and participate with problem solving and continuous improvements.
? Duties and job functions include set-up and operation of a variety of metalworking equipment performing various machining operations from simple to very complex.
? Operation of a variety of manual and CNC machines including mills, drills, grinders, broaches, turret lathes, horizontal bore, EDM, engine lathes, balance machines, etc.
? Operation of various material-moving equipment (forklifts, jib/gantry cranes, etc.)
? Use of a variety of measuring devices (ID and OD micrometers, calipers, Coordinate Measuring Machines, etc.)
? Use of a wide variety of associated shop equipment and tooling. Must perform other assigned duties as required.
