Requirements:

A high school diploma and related work experience.
Knowledge of networking technologies and equipment. Skill in troubleshooting network problems. Experience with Cisco networking equipment preferred. Skill in installation and proper termination of network cabling. Strong people skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, to follow detailed instructions and to work well with others.

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Network Administrator, will perform support and troubleshooting duties related to the campus LAN and assist with the installation of network equipment. Duties will include troubleshooting and repair of network problems, installation and maintenance of network infrastructure including wiring and data closets and troubleshooting PC related problems. Will assist with installation of all new network drop installations and moves in existing buildings and all new construction. Will also assist with completion of work orders processed through the Help Desk. Duties will involve manual labor requiring some lifting, use of ladders and power tools.

Schedule:
7:30 – 5:30 Monday – Wednesday
7:30 – 5:00 Thursday
