Design Engineer (62105BR)

Job responsibilities may include:
This position will be responsible for product development of Medium Voltage electro-mechanical assemblies that meet applicable industry standards. This includes design, testing, and verification activities.

A. Leading designers in new product development projects requiring unique solutions, while meeting schedule, cost and product performance goals. Interfaces closely with cross-functional team members.
B. Coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and customers to determine design specifications for future and existing products.
C. Coordinating design activities within project scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
D. Working with manufacturing engineering on meeting new product manufacturability and cost goals.
E. Coordinating new product prototype builds.
F. Develops technical literature in support of new product releases.
G. Writing and implementation of design verification test plans (electrical, thermal, and mechanical).
H. Utilize 3D CAD software to create product design concepts.
