Wages/Salary: The minimum salary is $25,627, the midpoint is $36,520.
The minimum requirements are a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or an associate's degree in computer science, computer technology or related field and two (2) years experience in the support and troubleshooting of data communications equipment, office automation systems, processing of information or installation of hardware or software; or a high school diploma and four (4) years experience in the support and troubleshooting of data communications equipment, office automation systems, processing of information or installation of hardware or software.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, printers, and peripherals; data communications, and local area networks; ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions; repair and maintain equipment; establish and maintain working relationships with users, vendors, and Information Systems staff; follow oral and written instructions; and communicate effectively.
You will need to provide, college-wide, technical support and services in the installation and maintenance of personal computer hardware and software, peripherals, and network access. You will require occasional travel between campuses; lifting and moving of personal computers, printers, and supplies, and use of light tools.
